By accessing or using Quote Gallery ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Quote Gallery.

2. Description of Service

Quote Gallery is a platform that allows users to discover, submit, organize, and share quotes. Features include quote browsing, playlist creation, slideshow presets, author profiles, and an API for programmatic access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account.
• One person may not maintain more than one account.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit content to Quote Gallery (including quotes, author information, playlists, and profile information):

• You represent that you have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe on any third party's rights.
• You grant Quote Gallery a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your submitted content in connection with the Service.
• You retain ownership of your original content, but acknowledge that quotes themselves are generally the intellectual property of their original authors.
• We reserve the right to remove, edit, or refuse any content at our sole discretion.
• All submitted quotes are subject to review and approval before being published.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Submit false, misleading, or fabricated quotes.
• Use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its systems.
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service outside of our official API.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Circumvent any rate limits, access controls, or security measures.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written permission, except through the official API.

6. API Usage

• Access to the Quote Gallery API is subject to separate rate limits and usage tiers as described in our API Pricing documentation.
• API keys are personal and non-transferable. Sharing or selling API keys is prohibited.
• We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse or Terms violations.
• API usage data may be collected for analytics and rate-limiting purposes.

7. Subscriptions & Payments

• Certain features require a paid subscription. Pricing is as listed on the Pricing page.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to existing subscribers.

8. Intellectual Property

• The Quote Gallery name, logo, design, and original code are the intellectual property of Quote Gallery.
• Quotes displayed on the platform are attributed to their respective authors and remain the intellectual property of those authors or their estates.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service's design or codebase without written permission.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Disclaimers

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any quotes or content on the platform.
• We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your use of the Service.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quote Gallery and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the bottom of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
